Versatile recreational activity possibilities in connection with Keto-Mökit

Fishing

The river by which Keto-Mökit are located is a part of a five-rapids fly-fishing area. The recreational fishing area of Puolankakoski is a few kilometres away. We sell permits for both areas. Other fishing is allowed in the lake areas.

Golf / mini golf

Lampila Golf is about 5 km away for golf enthusiasts.

Next to the golf course, there is a mini golf course that offers entertainment for the whole family. It’s worth checking out!

(Downhill) skiing

Downhill skiing can be done in Kouvola, at the Mielakka skiing resort. You can also rent cross-country skiing equipment at Mielakka and in the surroundings there is a maintained ski trail network.

The Jaala village as well as Selänpää have lit ski trails.

Outdoor activities

There are excellent mushroom and berry gathering areas around the cottages.

Repovesi National Park offers wonderful ground for outdoor activities and experiences. It is also possible to have expert-led activities at Repovesi.

The surrounding roads offer great possibilities for jogging and cycling. We rent out bicycles for the cottage-dwellers for 5 €/day.

The surrounding bodies of water are well-suited for paddling. There are several paddling equipment rentals in the area.

Entertainment

The Tykkimäki amusement park in Kouvola is naturally the kids’ favourite. In the surrounding area there are several restaurants with dancing and during the summer, temporary dance halls. There is something for everybody during the summer events.
